When her parents bought their bundle of joy home from the hospital on that snowy day in February, little did they know the adventures that awaited as they began raising their creative and energetic daughter, K.J. Gaston, in the Motor City.

At the mere age of five, the idea for her podcast was born after originally asking  her father if she could vlog on YouTube.  Stiff  negations ensued and hosting her own podcast became the compromise.

K.J. listened to a few podcasts and attended podcasts meetups, but ultimately the inspiration for Adventures of Little Miss Detroit (ALMD) came from her love of  the city and all it has to offer.  She is involved in all the details of of everything you see and hear.

Launched in February 2019,  the ALDM is recorded at Podcast Detroit’s Midtown Studio. Please listen as we explore the Motor City through the eyes of this precocious 8-year old girl and special guests.
